Exciting Cheer News, Meet Your Coach!!!

Hello Everyone!

We are SO EXCITED to introduce our new Cheerleading coach, Tinley Cordsiemon, who will be leading our cheer program this season with the Elsberry Flag Football Organization, Powered by the NFL Flag Organization. We sat down with Tinley to learn more about her background, coaching style, and what she’s looking forward to this year. Here's what she had to say:

Q: Can you tell us a little about your experience and background in cheerleading?

Tinley: “I have two years of cheerleading experience, but I’ve been involved in sports since I was very little. I’ve always loved being active and being part of a team, which made cheerleading a natural fit for me. I’m excited to bring my passion for sports and teamwork to the field with our cheerleaders!”

Q: What’s your favorite NFL team?

Tinley: “I’m a huge Seattle Seahawks fan! I love their energy and how they’re always pushing to improve. I definitely try to bring that same positive energy into my coaching.”

Q: How would you describe your coaching style?

Tinley: “I strive to create a very welcoming and stress-free environment where the kids can have fun while learning. It’s important to me that everyone feels comfortable and enjoys the season, but also that they’re growing and improving their skills. I want cheerleading to be something they look forward to!”

Q: What will your focus be for the different age groups?

Tinley: “For our younger cheerleaders, my main focus will be teaching them the fundamentals of cheerleading—the basics that will set them up for success in the future. For the older, more experienced cheerleaders, I’m excited to help them develop leadership skills and encourage them to lead by example, especially with the younger ones. I want them to help motivate and inspire each other, all while improving their own skills.”

Q: What are you most excited about in joining the Elsberry Flag Football family?

Tinley: “I am beyond excited to be part of this amazing new experience! It’s an opportunity to build something special, and I can’t wait to meet all of my new cheerleaders and get started. We’re going to have an incredible season!”
